Our Governors

Welcome from the Chair of Governors

On behalf of our governing body, I am delighted to welcome you to Oak Tree Primary School School.  The school has undergone many changes and challenges during the past few years, not least the impact of Covid-19 on staff, children and families.  However, the Headteacher, supported by her leadership team and staff, has continued to develop an exciting and motivating environment where the quality of teaching and learning is enhanced and celebrated.

Oak Tree has a governing body who bring a range of different skills to their roles as governors. We work closely with the Headteacher on a strategic level, and question and monitor what is happening at the school. We hold the school accountable for all aspects of its work, including safeguarding, health and safety, finance, HR, premises, and the quality of teaching and learning
